Simple Lie...

It was the last day of registration for graduate students of DLSU for 2nd term...and I had this feeling of "What should I do?"...though it was clear...I know what to do but maybe I was just hesistating. Then I broke the usual thing I do when I go to work. I dropped by DLSU to recheck the schedule of registration and enrollment. It was around 7:15am...

"OK this is it!" I told myself

I found myself in front of the gate and looking for my ID in my bag. After swipping my ID, the guard asked me, "Do you have laptop there?" I was actually caring a backpack.

"If I'm going to say yes...the guard would asked me to register my laptop, it would take some time because I didn't memorize my laptop serial number" - talking to myself again...

"None...just headset.."

The guard didn't check my bag...whew! While I was walking inside the campus. I realized that I couldn't see any students yet...all I could see were employees... "It's still too early"

After checking the schedule and approaching the exit of the school... "What if the guard checked my bag and asked for the registry form of my laptop?" So I just acted cool and didn't really mind the guard. I passed the gate and the guard didn't check my bag....whew!

As I walked going to work. I thought, what if the guards checked my bag...they would find out that I was lying. It would be very shameful. I would not know what to do... Then I realized that even simple lies could have a huge effect to person...What is 3minutes of registering your laptop, it wouldn't really take long...I was too early. I even arrived at work 40minutes earlier...

Lying, most of the time, would not do you good. It's better to tell the truth than lying and be bothered by your conscience.
